Communities in Schools
Communities in Schools is a national program that connects students and their families to local resources. Cornelius Bell is the LMCMS coordinator. To find out more about the program, please see the attached letter.
Students’ grades can be accessed online. Once a parent or guardian turns in a verification form, they will receive their username and password via email. Read the school district page for more information. Please contact Mary Lou Almanza, LMCMS Registrar, for assistance with Skyward at 785-330-1421.

Celebrate BANNED BOOKS WEEK and your freedom to read by joining us in a Banned Books Week scavenger hunt!
Sept 22nd thru Sept 26th the library is hosting a banned books week scavenger hunt. Learn a new thing or two and try your chance at a prize!

STUDENT COUNCIL will meet Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:30am in room 201.

Come to Socrates Café where we're not afraid to ask the hard questions! Bring your breakfast and bring your friends! Socrates Café meets Fridays in Ms. Reaver's room from 7:15-8:00! Front doors are open for your convenience!!
Math Counts will meet on Thursday this week in Ms. Reaver's room! Come and join us as we engineer amazing things from everyday materials and leap challenging math problems in a single bound? Snacks are provided. :)
Homework Zone has started! Come to the computer lab in room 206 if you need a place to study or finish homework. Teachers are available to help you complete your schoolwork or get organized. Homework Zone is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:15. Snack is provided for those willing to work.
Are you interested in architecture, engineering, or design? Then come to Future City, a club and contest for students interested in designing and building their own city 150 years in the future. Future City Club will meet on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:15 in Mr. Heath’s room 404. Open to all LMCMS students, snacks provided.
Do you like to argue? Come to Debate Club, where we learn and practice tactics of effective argumentation and debate. Debate Club will meet on Mondays from 3:15-4:15 in Mr. Heath’s room 404. Open to all LMCMS students, snacks provided.
GSA will meet on Thursdays from 3:15-4:30 in room 111 (Ms. Olden’s room). All students are welcome to attend.
